What is empathy? Why does the character of Ana Stelline feel so different tonally from the rest of the players in Blade Runner 2049? What makes her feel different? Join Jaime, Patrick, and Dan as we dive head first into a conversation about memory and dreams, birth and death, captured so beautifully in the character of Dr. Stelline.

Patrick, there are no "fucking terrible people". There are those asleep and those awake. Try not to assume another's journey, walk the talk. Love you brother.

Although I see Rachael's daughter in the beauty of Stelline, I feel Deckard in her isolation and loneliness. I particularly loved hearing Jaime recall details of the 2019 event. Would love to hear all of you recall the 2019 event and experiences you had together maybe in a reflective episode. Love you guys, thank you again for all of your hard work.

As a father who has been estranged from my daughter I found it fascinating how much she mirrored my behaviors and demeanor. As you three were drawing the similarities and parallels throughout the film it made me think of Deckard. Even though they have never met, lived miles, and in some ways worlds apart, they lived very similar lifestyles. They were alone, living in their own worlds filled with distractions to pass the time. How much of our parents are imprinted into our DNA?
